Homemade Burger

My hubby’s famous home made burgers always taste better than the restaurant or the shop brought ones.

Plus it’s healthy and you know exactly what you wi be eating! You can add all your favourite flavours into this And create truly delicious burger. (Recipe credit; Suresh Koswatte)


Secret is Scotch bonnet chilli


Ingredients


  • 250g of mutton mince

  • 250g of beef mince (I usually use 2-3 types of meat. Just because of the flavour. But you can use any meat on this recipe, even if it’s just one type)

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp salt and pepper - according to your taste

  • 1/2 scotch bonnet chilli finely chopped

  • 1 finely chopped onion

  • 5-6 finely chopped garlic

  • 1 egg white to combine all

  • 1 stem of finely chopped celery


Method

Take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients together really well with you hand. Make sizeable balls as you require and make a patty. Put it on the grill and cook. Serve it hot with you favourite topping.
